Match #14 (10 Apr 11): Given the Blues
A most winnable match but we succumbed to a lack of ideas in breaking down a stubborn Blues team. We were undone by a first half free kick which exploited our miscommunication. Pressed hard in second half but to no avail. Narrow 0-1 loss.
Match #13 (3 Apr 11): Escaped from EastWest
EastWest United could have buried us by half time but left us off the hook when they could have gone 4 goals up. We delivered 2 sucker punches within the first 10 minutes of restart, courtesy of Teck Chye's determination and tenacity in scoring the first goal and setting up the 2nd goal for Teck Wah. It looked like one of those days for EastWest United but they recovered to restore parity with moves that exposed our tentative goalkeeping. Surprisingly, we also had a couple of clear-cut opportunities to steal a win but we couldn't really complain with the scoreline.
