It was a very winnable match vs British Council. MS virtually camped in their half for the first 20 mins as BC was literally in 6s & 7s. For a while, we look like the team of our jersey, lots of possession but failing to put it in the net. A good cross from Chye found Simon after YC had occupied the attention of the central defenders. Simon finished well with his left foot. Unfortunately BC bounced back quickly as their forward cut in from the left and drilled a shot past our keeper.
The second half was surprising hard for us. A route one approach enabled BC to score against the run of play. Chye restored parity with a thumping freekick after Simon had caused the keeper to handle outside the box. Then we fell behind again. YC then shrugged off 2 challenges before burying a grounder to bring the contest to a climax. Both teams went all out for the elusive winner. It ended a thrilling 3-3.
The streak is broken but we still do not know the 'missing' link for the losses or to regain winning :)
