Match #29 (6 Aug 11): Ought to kick ourselves for this 3-3 draw

Again, we let a certain victory slip through our grip. Tampines Blues had their keeper to largely thank for and our suicidal play at the back further helped their cause. We laid seige on their goal from the first 1st minute and we should have been 3-0 up at half time but instead we had to settle for a 1-1 tie then. Durian Harvester Mike got our opening goal.

We took the lead in the 2nd half, courtesy of KH's effort to run through 3 static defenders to poke the ball past their keeper. Then our backline gifted them 2 goals for them to reverse the lead 2-3. KH gambled with the last throw of the dice by re-introducing Teck Wah in the last 5 minutes of the match and he duly repaid KH's faith with a well-taken equalising goal, after Weng Khong's fine through ball set Teck Wah free to face Tampines Blues' custodian alone.
